Eating our own dogfood? During my days at Microsoft I was always eating dogfood, and I really miss it. Now, this doesn’t mean I was tucking down on Pal Meaty Bites, it meant that I was using our software everywhere I could, often before it was even released. In this way we were finding problems before our customers did and getting real world feedback on how to improve it.
Well, given my “Anatomy of a SharePoint Solution” blog series, I felt it was about time we started eating our own dogfood at zevenseas. So, it gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of the new zevenseas Blogs Home page.
Over the Christmas break, using just Windows SharePoint Service, the Community Kit For SharePoint:Enhanced Blog Edition and Search Express, we added:
- Our Blogging Platform including:
- View Tracking
- Comment Tracking
- Tag Clouds/Lists
- A new dynamic navigation control
- Search, specific to just our blogs
