Please advice..
This is how I run my SharePoint 2010 (development) environment
I am planning to buy laptop for sharepoint 2010 development. DELL XPS 17 (256 GB SSD + 8 GB RAM) is one of the options.
Did you installed everthing(Windows Server 2008+ SQL server+Sharepoint+ etc..) on the metal or are you using VM ? How was the peak performance?
Thanks for the post!!

Store relational information in Sharepoint ?
Hi, just found the solution to the problem I am facing. We are using this solution for our recruiting. We know who is in the pipeline and we can always find the history of the recruiting we have done! Thanks

Store relational information in Sharepoint ?
Hi Greg,
Thanks for your reaction!
You're right, you can use lookup columns.
In this particular scenario it was a desire to remove the documents after a employee leaves the company. Meaning that just have to delete the employee folder.

Store relational information in Sharepoint ?
What advantages to you see to using this method vs. having a person list entity, and then using the last name as a lookup column in your various documents?
